I added Googlebar (a Mozilla extension) before the Google searchbox was built in. For some of us frequent searchers it's nice having one click access to choose a search type (usenet, images, local, etc) plus dictionary.com search and some other goodies.

Sounds like Google's search bar will be slimmer.
