Once could argue that DVD Jon is using his fame to good use.
First, his constant cracking of each new DRM scheme points out
the futility of DRM--a company will spend a fortune on
implementing it only to find it broken within moments after its
release. Hopefully companies can learn from this about whether
its worth spending a fortune on such a DRM system.
At the very least, he's letting companies know where the flaws
are in their system that need to be patched, as Apple has often
