Well, it might result in security issues

but did Google throw exploits at Jon's tweaks, or at their own service/code? And if it's too much of a tweak, maybe it will disrupt content flow from Google Video, much like we don't want Real on our iPods, and the next firmware update took care of that freely downloaded and executed squatter. Most importantly, Google should just disclaim, what you do to the code after we've created is on you and whatever legal consequences arise from your own activities. As always, the user knows what they are or aren't doing as far as content retrieval. If you've got Google Video bringing you the Fantastic Four or War of the Worlds prior to release, you might have some consequences that Google never meant to arise, right Jon.
