Loss of Buyers
My experience with eBay, which extends many years now, is that it has steadily been infiltrated and abused by scam artists and con wo/men. It has become a pain to navigate through and filter out the hucksters.

My account was hijacked last year. I've been approached, via email, by numerous lowlifes trying to get me to cough up personal financial info. And there are an average of 2/mo phishing emails, that are getting more sophisticated, purporting to be from eBay seeking account info.

I rarely go to eBay anymore. There is just way too much fertile ground for fraud. And it's become a pain in the arse to try and conduct business. It's a shame, since eBay was awesome for a few years.
