MS trying to go in 2 many directions!
They are going to get themselves in a jam soon. By trying to dominate all aspects of features and software, they are spreading their developers too thin.

There is already an anti-Microsoft sentiment buiding amongst knowledgeable computer users. The "common user" is starting to sense that flow from their more knowledgeable friends. NOW when a story about MS hits the wire, more and more people are starting to look at MS with distain ... in other words, MS is starting to leave a "bad taste" in peoples" mouths.

There have already been standards of software protocal set by the respective makers of Java, Javascripting, HTML, streaming media. and other features LONG before Microsoft ever entered that part of the arena. All MS has done over time is to try to rewrite these things into an "MS-only" style just to screw-up something that worked fine for everyone else before that.

.... hence the "bad taste"

So, be careful Billy ... you may soon unitentionally become Mozilla's, Apple's, Sun's, and Linux's biggest promoter!!!!
