A better anology Obutterball

Microsoft is accused of everything negative but I believe you guys are kidding yourselves.

Ms is not:
Lumbering Dinosaur
Inefficient
Slow
Stupid
Evil
Awful Products

MS is at the top of the food chain. They are more like a T-Rex. Not a lumbering Brontasaur. If they want to they can turn on a dime and give all of their competition sh*t fits at the same time. Their favorite is to take the standard you set, add some proprietory features you can't deal with (cause it's proprietory) and put it in their software by default. Doesn't matter what kind of wire you got. They have the diagonal cutters to turn your standards against you.

I was giving you a suggestion on not to port your favorite apps to windows. Or to port a limited function one to Win32. All of open source would agree to it. No company has to lead the way. Use leverage to persuade some MS folks to switch. I figured if you guys concentrate hard on you own products and ignore MS, you would be futher along in development. You guys have to try a new strategy.
