Oh, now, here we go AGAIN...
This prudish, misdirected blame game:

First it was 50's Rock and Roll lyrics at fault for an uptick in teenage pregnancy and date rape.

Then it was tight jeans in the 60's for an uptick in teenage promiscuity.

Then it was 60's Rock and Roll lyrics for an uptick in teenage pregnancy and date rape.

Then it was violence in 60's biker movies for an uptick in gang violence.

Then it was 70's Rock and Roll lyrics for an uptick in teenage pregnancy and date rape.

Then it was suggestive moves in 70's disco music for an uptick in teenage promiscuity.

Then it was 80's Rock and Roll lyrics for an uptick in teenage pregnancy and date rape.

Then it was video games for violent episodes like Columbine.

Then it was 90's Rock and Roll lyrics for an uptick in teenage pregnancy and date rape.

NOW it's cell phone text messaging for an uptick in teenage suicide and violence.

I KNOW what the next one is going to be:

Blaming 21st Century Rock and Roll lyrics for an uptick in teenage pregnancy and date rape.

Did anyone ever consider that it might just be the happenings and directions of people interacting in SOCIETY that might be influencing the Rock and Roll lyrics, the dance moves, the TALK of promiscuity and the TALK of violence?

Jeesh.
