Notice Cory doesn't copy the guys name, its not a 'reputation' thing, the slashdot comment doesn't carry weight because of the person saying it. The reason it got modded +5 and Cory's copied it is because the argument contains logic thats stands up on its own.

Do you trust your Internet neightbour? No way! Not unless they say something inciteful that stands up to analysis on its own.
