How Microsoft/Yahoo/eBay could kill off Google
Check out http://www.bitpad.com where an idea on how Microfot or another Tier1 online brand could significantly hurt Google.

The idea is to go after the approx. $4B+ revenues Google generates via advertising, approx. 95% of its total revenues.

Right now Google's Adsense network shares click-thru revenues with itself and website owners. What if Microsoft, for instance, cut end-users into the revenue stream. Google couldn't match it, as a newly public company it needs to maintain its revenues at a bare minimum. Users would be attracted to the offer to generate some payments/micropayments to offset purchases or their own web surfing costs. It would be likely an interesting enough offer, that word of mouth would quickly grow.
