I hate to break it to you but as a web developer I have to say that Firefox's CSS support is much better. I have had nothing but problems with IE's CSS support.

Misrendering transparency in PNGs, failing miserably with W3C compliant CSS, "impressive"? I think not. I am a lot more impressed with Firefox's rendering engine than IE's.

Here's an example of your "impressive" rendering in action - try it in both IE and Firefox and you'll see why I prefer Firefox:

P.S. Java does its own rendering. Problems in Java are not related to the IE vs Firefox issue. If you were to put Microsoft's JVM into Firefox, it will work just like IE for Java stuff.
