they should call it...
...money down the drain. The consumer's and the stockholder's money that is. I'm sure the RIAA doesn't care how many times they get paid for the same song by the same person and I'm sure MS doesn't care how many times they deliver the same song for a fee. In other words - they don't care about the user/consumer. The music rental model will not work because once consumers see their collection disappear with their subscription payment - piracy will pick up again. Face it - Apple has it figured out. MS should make nice with iTunes and, in general, stop trying to bully their way into every single business area that moves into their field of vision.
