Funny thing is....

"I wonder if there is a way to make Firefox say "oh active x I need to open IE""

Have you checked to see if there is an extension to detect it?

Problem with that would be.. If you have Active X spyware. :P You'd basically be allowing the user to say yes without prompting them and then wham.. The problem ISN'T solved with the differences between Firefox and IE. :P

But yeah I agree about users... Explaining to them IEView would be a nightmare. Engineers especially are the worst (not Software, or Programming) but like Mining, Mechanical etc.. Explaining to them even the simplest of things is like pulling teeth.
