to porn, or not to porn
Its not that people can't differentiate between them, its that religious zealots and right wing evangelicals have enormous lobbying strength (especially with this administration).

Everyone may know the difference between sex ed and porn, but what if James Dobson thinks sex ed IS porn? What about gays who have online journals? Should we banish those to the .xxx domain as well because Focus on the Family thinks they're no better than porn?

It has nothing to do with intelligence, but rather how easily religious fanatics can influence public policy -- and under this President, they go hand in hand.
