This isn't a big deal.
I think everyone can differentiate between "sex ed" and porn. Besides, if every adult site were .xxx, then firewalls would be built with a single check mark..... "block .xxx sites".
It would make it incredibly easy to keep schoolkids out of porn sites. (Compared to what has to be done now. And yes, this very day I was working on a firewall/proxy server for a school corp.)

Hell, they should have done this YEARS ago.
