They're doing us a favor
All MS and ScamSubtract and all the other anti whatever companies are trying to do is protect us from ourselves. If people are too dumb to know not to open suspicious or obvious scam emails, then they should be on their own and no one should give a damn what happens to them and their machines.
And before you Mac and Linux guys can weigh in, you know as well as anyone that spam IS NOT something suffered only by PC users. It's an equal opportunity scourge. The cure is simple. DO NOT OPEN IT.
