The Microsoft rule of innovation is: ...: ... when they change their software they've innovated.

But that's not a definition I'd expect you to prefer.

And I'm not sure why you would take integrating additional functionality into the software as a gain for which an organization should be praised.

Would it be an achievement if FireFox incorporated tabbed browsing so thoughly that you couldn't turn it off, let alone remove it?
