Damage Control Needed

The U.S. and its system of gov't have sustained significant damage from the poor ideas that have plagued its politics and general morality. So, no, it obviously isn't as easy as you so flippantly suggest.

There needs to be damage control. The supreme court ruling is a step toward achieving that. The ruling brings to the forefront issues like property rights and free trade which have for a long time been misunderstood all over the world.

As to your suggestion, I would agree that removing all subsidies alone will not solve the problem. First a foundation of good ideas must be laid to understand, for instance, why subsidies do more harm than good. As I said in my first post on this thread, America needs the right ideas as her foundation if she is to keep what freedom she has and move closer to the free society she once was.
