This isn't for the public, but setting us up for a later tax
"Even with a moratorium, there would be a certain level of uncertainty that might keep some businesses from investing in Florida"

I just have this uneasy feeling that in the future as soon as consumers are hooked on VOIP, the government is going to tax the hell out of it.
The goverment is saying invest in our state, build to your hearts content. Then when a few states implement a VOIP tax, they all will. Just like before, by $40 phone bill becomes a $60 bill. Just like my $60 cable bill becomes a $70 cable bill.
It will be my $20 VOIP bill becomes a $35 bill.
The government is waiting to pounce on it to tax the hell out of it.
Now I'm all for paying for infrastructure and services, but am I not paying for that already with the broadband bill, either DSL or Cable.
