Dude, that was the EXACT same thing I thought as soon as I saw this. EVERY government official needs to be bitchslapped and tossed out on their asses!

"politicians said spyware was a growing threat that required prompt action by Congress."

No OTHER growing threats on the horizon? If this is a growing threat, then how is terrorism perceived? What about the growing threat of business corruption? Or outsourcing? Or the military-industrial complex?
