For $55 a year...
...I'll take 55 songs that I can burn to cd and own forever. Or better yet, I'll take the 7 or 8 used cd's that'll buy for me.

As I said above, there are months where I don't buy any music at all, so why waste the money just to hear stuff I already should own? And if I want to sample, pretty much every single worthwhile band puts out an mp3 or two, or at least a few song samples through their website.
