No, only once. IBM's licence fee for software for Power 5 dual-core processors is calculated as if you had two processors in the box. That may cost more, even double, but you don?t ?pay twice?.

I have no doubt IBM will release their own dual-core AMD or Intel based boxes, so they will be competing with their own hardware against their own hardware too.

?NOT a great marketing plan folks.?

Heck, IBM is such a piss-ant failure of an IT company, I?m sure they need your help with marketing.
