- amd is cooler than p4 or g5
- i just built an athlon64 system and the processor with just stock cooling and an antec sonata (ultra-quiet) has only one fan - the processor runs between 93 to 104 degrees under heavy workload. that's pretty impressive and the reason why g5's aren't in laptops and AMD64 has been in laptops for over a year now
