Subsidies says it all...
Whenever there is some sort supply squeeze, you can usually bet a government somewhere had something to do with it. So Japan and Germany make solar panels more attractive via subsidies -- is it any wonder that demand is outstripping supply? Let the nature market forces determine pricing and we will see far fewer of these "the sky is falling" reports.
