Counter Point, it's your fault too.

I hear what you are saying, but the fact is doctor's play a part, and maybe even a bigger part in the problem than does the medical insurance industry. (I'm no fan of the insurance companies but lets be honest here.)

The mediacal profession, doctor's, nurses, hospitals, clinics, etc. worship at the feet of the insurance industry because that is where the fatted lamb is to be found. Try checking into a health care facility without insurance and see what happens. Be born with a disfigurement and see how many hospitals or plastic surgons care at all. The "power" of the insurance industry over the medical profession was handed to them with the full knowledge and blessing of your profession!

The fact is doctors are one of if not the highest paid professions in the US on average and have been for a very long time. You speak of destroying the "Doctor-Patient" relationship being the insurance companies fault, and I say to you that relationship was destroyed when patients began to realise dollars meant the difference between life and death and the medical profession really doesn't care if you can't hand them the dollars...
