AMD Should Push Win Media Center and DVR PC Apps
I think AMD should try and push the use of Win Media Center PCs and DVR applications that use its 64 bit processors. I think this market is going to grow appreciably, and allow the chip to receive accelerated acceptance the market. When you do digital video recordings and editing on a 2 GHz PC, you feel almost taken back to the time when Win 95 was released, and hardware was limping along, trying to keep up with software. As for terabyte drives: the same is true. A 100 GB hard drive seems cramped when you start doing digital recordings and editing.
