Don't see it this way...
I see this as Intel moving further to the Microsoft camp. By cancelling this license, Intel is moving away from Open Source towards more robust and industry standard offerings like Windows. The fact that this move coincides with the release of SP1 for Windows Server 2003 is not lost on this CIO. Intel obviously sees Windows as more viable and is looking to right past wrongs by dumping Linux. My rep told me this makes sense so it must be true.
