Just as the "Big Lie" will be believed if you repeat it for long enough, the Itanic will rise someday. The chip is a winner in terms of design features (although the "wasted space" for the x86 processing "core" keeps Itanic from being optimal). When Moore's Law becomes Moore's hindsight (in 2 more iterations 65nm to 40nm), the EPIC architecture will be optimal for "a finite space" of silicon. HP will be in the driver's seat at that time - if they can survive that long.
