We are dedicated to the sole purpose of loading Linux on the watch. A user identified as SkipyPenguin stated:

'We are making dramatic progress with MOD chips for the MS Watch to allow users to load non-MS enabled alarms and non-standard chronology sequences. We want users not to be locked into standard 24 hour days with 60 minute hours. Users should have the choice to load anything they want on their watch and avoid vendor lock-in. I am currently using a metric 10 hour day with my handy MS/Linux interface in case I have to do real work during the day.'

You know people it's called a $14.95 Timex from your local Wally World :-p
