For now...
Last I looked a cool 30% of Dells total revenue was earned outside the US and the growth rate of those sales is increasing. As indicated in another ZDnet story the US market is becoming saturated and Dells future earnings growth will come from offshore.
The Indian service centres take calls from more than just the US, even from here in NZ.
There is a bigger story here than just the outsourcing of US IT service centres - transnational corporations are quickly supersceding the soverignty of goverments and decisions are made that affect whole societies purely on the basis of a profit-driven motive.

Now Im a committed capitalist and sure as hell Im all in favour of profit as a motive, but even I am beginning to wonder - how much is too much? (and no I dont mean how much money)
