Solaris x86 is great and I'm glad Sun made the download free again. The $20 was a burden, but I managed to download it for free anyway a couple of months ago and have evaluated it.

The only drawback is the lack of support by some of the software vendors out there. If there were more software for Solaris x86, I'm sure acceptance would be greated.
