if you want long battery life, wireless and a laptop that does
not burn you up then go with Apple. The first iBook from
1999 is what I own. I have been on my Airport network
since that year and when the battery was new in it I got 5
hours between recharges. In fact now that the G3 chip has
been killed off I will most likely try to stay with the
SLOWEST possible replacement if I upgrade in the near
future (iBook G4--800 mhz)
