IBM lets Millipede storage out for a stroll

Now when are they going to replace the spinning platter hard drive?: It's still the #1 bottleneck of a system. Holding tons of data on something the size of a stamp is swell and all, but storage space is not and hasn't been a major issue for some time. Speed is what we need, and wouldn't it be lovely to have a hard drive as fast as RAM but as cheap per GB as a platter and no runing electricity to keep its memory on top of all that?
