Sony has the best quality? you godda be kidding!
"Sony is used to fighting straight up based on the quality of the product. Sony wins by having the best products and the best reputation for quality."

Sony does not fight strait up as about 4 years ago they were cuaght "dumpping" Trinitron monitors on the market along with NEC and their flat panel displays.

As for quality, EVERY piece of Sony electronics in our house has quit working in one way or another. Yet the Technics, GE, RCA, Awai, Marrantz, and even the Radio Shack products have outlasted all the Sony produts.

Sony has been living off of it's reputation for the past 10 years, adding glitzy features to their product at the expense of quality, to keep cost low enough for the average person to afford.

Keep your Sony, I want something that will last.
