It was no mistake.
PCs are becoming commodities.

Combining the price competitiveness with the brand name of IBM, it is going to bulldoze Dell and Microsoft.

Don't forget that almost all the PC components used to build the PC are now made in China. And on top of that Dell and HP, just like other computer assemblers, are all using them.

Dell is just an American assembler using Chinese PC components. It is just the labeling. Dell had been doing this for years.

I guess the Microsoft rats like No_Ax are out to spread Fear, Uncertainty, and Deception (FUD) to try to stop the competitive threats.

Now that the PC hardware is becoming commoditized, the next target for commoditizing is the PC operating system (Windows) by spreading Linux worldwide using China as the springboard.

Microsoft is scared.
