Expansion fuels prosperity
Moore's Law is the fundamental reason why the US economy has been so good over the last 30-40 years. Expansion (of performance in chips) pushes costs of computer equipment down, and its adoption rate up. This was a very astute observation by Moore, and it deserves recognition.
