- Dual Core operating systems
- We need operating system enhancements (Linux?) to take full advantage of multicore, especially for real time applications. It would be great to dedicate one core, with its L1 cache, to one thread while it handles a time critical task, while the other core(s) handle interrupts and normal threads.
