---have the same problem as software makers: the world already has most of what it wants from a pc.---

Then it makes sense to build a compeling reason to buy a better system. I still say the average home in the US is a vast untappped market waiting for someone with vision to step up.

Heck, I can think of dozens of applications for the home/auto/etc.
