- Do ALL unwanted PCs get re-homed then?

I wonder what percentage still ends up in a land-fill site? Would anyone care to bet that the percentage junked is far, FAR greater than the percentage recycled? Let's see: 40,000 PCs recycled, while global PC sales stand at how many million?
I think *that's* the waste that BJ was ranting about, and it is apalling. And it's only the existence of organizations like this charity which are saving the PCs from the landfill, so you're "enough left over to give to the poor" angle is a horribly patronizing piece of spin.
