Commodity Computing Power
At first read this sounds quite interesting. There are however, a couple of notions that pop into my head as I mull over the service...

Just what is the information security and privacy framework to support this going to look like?

When a significant, temporary change in computing resources are required there is a high probability of a relative change in the amount of data the computing resource will be applied to. What type of (on-demand) network and possibly storage resources will need to be in place to enable such data movement?

Anyway.. just some initial thoughts that Sun may have already addressed.
