decent minor upgrades
Basically a small performance boost with a small price drop... nothing to complain about, but not quite the innovative prowess Phil Schiller is trying to convey.

The main innovation here is the scolling trackpad. That's pretty cool, and I'd love to try it out as soon as these things hit to stores.

Sudden Motion Sensor, while definitely a great addition to any laptop, isn't exactly a new concept, either. The main thing Apple did was remove it completely from the hard drive and placed it on the mobo (cool idea to make it work with drives from multiple manfacturers.) There's also several rumors that Apple is going to apply the same tech to future iPods.

In all, a decent set of minor upgrades. The best thing Apple did here was introduce the new goods while dropping the price at the same time.
