Apple sold over a million Macs in the last quarter - a 26% rise on
the equivalent period the previous year (and more than twice the
growth rate of the industry as a whole). The new G5 iMacs
actually accounted for a hefty part of this increase.

As for "cooking eggs" I suggest you actually try one of these
machines and do some comparisons of things like processor
temperatures with those ugly old things from other
manufacturers. Yes. egg cooking is an area where the Apple
does fall behind I'll admit. If you want to get up to the necessary
temps you'll have to get something with Intel or AMD inside, I'm
afraid.

You might also want to cast your eye over some of the reliability
surveys which almost without exception have Apple out in front
of even the most reliable windows boxes.
