- why would dell care about apple?
- HP is by far Dell's largest competitor and by the end of this year Linux will be on more desktops than Macs... Mini PC's of varying design have been out for years and have more horsepower. No PC maker generic or otherwise would even bother trying to sell such an underpowered and obsolete machine. 32 mb of video and 256 mb of ram? OSX is doggy on their towers running over a gig of ram and up. HP is more of a problem for Dell because they actually compete and aren't just a toshiba hard drive (i-pod) reseller. Apple missed the point with the cube also... And that new I-mac isn't flying off the shelves - but you can cook an egg on the back of one - that heat must be good for cooking the components inside...
