- An "unfazed" price drop?

I see that Dell have immediately knocked 10% of the price of
their cheapest model! By the time you added in shipping and
other charges it used to sit at the same price as the new mini. I
guess they realise that anyone who actually tries out (or even
simply looks at) the two would have realised where the value
lies when the price is the same!
Mind you, you still only get "home" XP with the Dell compared
to the full blown version of OSX with the MiniMac, so I wouldn't
be surprised if they have to move things a bit further still. Maybe
the Dell basement model will be the first "name brand" to crack
the $300US mark as it tries to compete? But even if the Dell hit
$250 I know which I'd prefer!
