Thought that's what another company did
just before they went bankrupt. This was a big thing a while back where you got a "free" PC if you subscribed to that company's Internet service for two years. You got a low-end proprietary hardware PC with last-version software and Internet service at what was to me an inflated price. I can't think of the name right now, but they didn't even make two years...
