Time Warner has DVR and VOD
I live in Northeast WI and Time Warner currently offers DVR service with VOD. It is great. I can pause TV and record TV just like a TIVO. The best part is the movie channels and Pay Per View are also On Demand. I choose a movie I want to watch and it start right away and with Dolby Digital sound. It only costs me $5 extra a month and the On Demand Pay Per View movies are the same price as the standard Pay Per View. I heard Time Warner is also looking into adding HD to their DVR service in the near future. Currently you can only have one or the other.
