I disagree...
Due to AMD's much smaller size and budget than Intel, they need to concentrate on what they do best and let the 3rd party manufacturers do the support chipsets.

When they reach 33% of the entire market (desktop,workstation/server and mobile segments), then maybe they will be able to branch off into supporting chipsets.
