""Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) and Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM), "" and ':

Locking...

- something just the same as an OEM would do,wich coincides at times with ,quality, quantity, and discount ?

For a looong while you haven't really seen the lobby rooms display different types of technologies along with the 'cell phones as well. The video phones that are so popular in asian markets for example -WE might see two or three 'MARKETED technologies of similar attributes.

But for ""Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) and Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM), "".. as well you dont see a white sign on the wall at your local tely denoting 'these items for this, and these items for this cell phone. These are not as casually known, nor recognized by consumers with much ease. Most any of the wireless technologies still use ''many different delegations of 'standards reference - while WE see only brightly noticable 'brand names, then deal with the details later.

This is interesting to see the ideas of 'locking a cell phone...and...''retail cell phones are unlocked' but cost much more''... I embelish the idea of say a retail outlet with rows of SprintPCS phones yet ''there isn't any time of service in the area. Another go figure.

I would probably want the newer phones anyway. They most likely will have technological resilence that previous generations would not have.

Coursey over at AnchorDesk did a story on some stuff to do with 'wireless. Its at the lead 'Home page for ZDNET here. Shows a lot of the iffy curcumstances that can be experienced with them.

Everybody I know has a cell phone. Why they work for them seems to be a different reason of 'how they work. They just work. And are being used.I of course don't have a cell phone.

If your a techy though your probably past the college stage. And can do more than pound on it.Heck ,everybodies talking on a cell phone. Whats up with that still remains to be seen and told - its only a radio .

.....cross dressing the process I think.More processor power.More web conectivity accesories.Picture wireless.

but just think one time about ""Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) and Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM), "", then run for the retail shelf real quick.

I know I certainly could do with a cell phone using a 400 Mhz processor,Several hundred mb or ram,and a good clear 'radio signal''....ask santa claus whats up with that.

Courseys got a few, though that kind of power is more than only signaling.May be another year as well.

-just talking.profusely gabbing that is.
