No Linus, no good!
Another major chip designer and manufacturer is getting out of that business - HP. This whole line of reasoning that Transmeta is going through is what HP went through YEARS ago. They decided to partner with Intel and leverage their chipbuilding talents. The result is a giraffe (horse done by comittee) i.e. the Itanic. Hmm, looks bleak for Transmeta in BOTH directions . . .
