Mike Cox, is that you?
Mr. Fake No Ax, I know this is a troll, but I can't resist! No only do developers have to port their applications to Itanic, they have to "think different" when it comes to designing new code. Programming for EPIC is different, since you need to understand parallelism and prioritization BEFORE you write the code. This means that programmers will NOT be able to have the same code base for all *NIX flavors - the EPIC code will be different. This is a hard sell to developers - write and maintain a completely separate source code for EPIC, and another one for Solaris/AIX/IRIX/Linux/PA-RISC. I know what the answer will be!
