But that is the point....
This is supposed to be a comericial product, but it still looks like a hobbyist project. That's what they said about this tablet product here:

The point is that cheapware is nice, but Linux is not pushing the edge with these end user/consumer/notebook whatever you want to call it that's not a server product.

In the non-server world, Linux is just not anywhere near where the state of the art for the average consumer. The MythTV looks great, and I'd like to try one, but where is it?

No competition because no one is even trying.
